Martial Arts in 2000 and ran these programs until
October 2005 when he and his family moved to Larkspur, Colorado. He
maintains his strive for excellence not only for himself, but also
for his students.
John believes that Krav Maga offers a better all-around fighting and
self defense system for both men and women. He finished the final
phase of instructor training for Krav Maga in 2004 and is now
working on the last expert series of Krav Maga training. John was
also be selected to the Krav Maga Train the Trainer program in 2007.
This is a small group of Instructor's from across the country who

Chris
Cranston is one of the youngest people in Krav Maga worldwide
history to successfully make it through the instructor
certification program. He is currently a senior at Rock
Canyon High School and plans on joining the army after college.
He enjoys working out, watching mixed martial arts (MMA), and
hanging out with friends.
Chris
came to us in the spring of 2005 with members of the local army
recruiting center for an introductory seminar. Chris was
immediately impressed with the level of practicality. It
wasn't about figuring out your opponent or scoring points for a
competition. It was about doing what was necessary to go
home to your family. Chris began training at RMKM in June
of 2006.
Chris's
favorite part of being an instructor is seeing people come in
the door seeking help and watching them leave safer. He
believes that Krav Maga's battle tested techniques can lead to
safer lives for both men and women. He emphasizes that
students should have a firm grasp of the technique as well as
the principles that formed it.
When he
is not training in Krav Maga he is working on his own personal
system. "Dragon Style", it deals with no natural
response to danger and is as complicated as possible. He
borrows a lot from the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles his first
experience in Martial Arts at age 12

Philip Mann is a 10-year military veteran whose active duty
tours spanned the Navy, Army, and National Guard. Presently
employed by the Federal Aviation Administration, he brings with
him a varied background ranging from infantry to electronics.
Philip has been training at Rocky Mountain Krav Maga since
November 2006, and has far outpaced even his own expectations.
Philip’s pervious training encompassed bits and pieces of
various martial arts, but was drawn to Krav Maga because of its
“no-nonsense” approach to teaching and learning that can work
for everyone. He believes that the street is not the place for
dozens of complicated forms and esoteric techniques. “The
military breaks things into tasks that can be remembered and
executed under the stress of combat; Krav Maga does exactly the
same thing and it works.” Also, with its emphasis on overall
fitness, he believes that Krav Maga arms students with important
tools that can mean the difference between winning and losing a
confrontation: fitness and conditioning. “All other things being
equal, the better conditioned fighter always wins.”
Philip earned his Bachelor of Science in Business in 2006 and is
pursuing Master degrees in both Public Administration and
Business Administration. He spends a substantial part of his
remaining time working out, running, and riding his motorcycle.
